Types of Memberships
Regular Resident
Membership
The Regular Resident
Member and spouse shall enjoy all the privileges of the Club, including
golf, outdoor tennis, pool, dining room, bar and all activities the club
provides. This membership allows the right to vote and hold office
and shall have full right, jointly, of ownership in the Club’s
properties and assets. Their unmarried dependent children may also
enjoy all the privileges of the club except the right to vote, hold
office or be owner of properties of the club. The eligible children
must be still living in the member’s home or attending college full time
and be 23 years old and under. The Jonesboro Country Club Board of
Directors must approve all applications and resignations.
Corporate Membership
Corporate memberships afford the same privileges as the Regular
membership to one representative of a company. For a $500.00 transfer
fee, the membership may be transferred to another individual therefore
saving a major portion of the cost of initiation fee for a new
membership. Not more than one member of the corporation may use the
membership at one time. The Jonesboro Country Club Board of Directors
must approve all applications and resignations.
Junior Membership
Junior memberships afford the same privileges as the Regular
membership with the exception of the right to vote, hold office, and
have ownership of properties and assets. You must be under 35 years of
age to apply for the Junior Membership. While in Junior member status,
the member does not own stock, may not transfer his membership and
should he/she resign or become suspended his equity in the Club is
forfeited. The age of the husband will be the determining factor in the
case of a married couple desiring this membership. Upon completion of
the stock purchase the Board of Directors will convert the membership to
a Regular Resident Member upon approval. The Jonesboro Country Club
Board of Directors must approve all applications and resignations.
Senior Membership
Any Regular member, who has been a member in good standing for 12 months
and attains the age of 65, may convert to senior membership status.
Senior members shall pay one-half the monthly dues of a Regular member.
Once a Regular member converts to Senior membership, he/she is no
longer allowed golfing privileges.
Program Membership
At times the Club will offer financing programs for those interested
in joining the club. Certain restrictions and requirements apply. In
all cases the programs require contracts to be signed and an obligation
is required to complete the purchase of the membership prior to
resignation. If Program memberships are available, information may be
obtained through the office. The Jonesboro Country Club Board of
Directors must approve all applications and resignations.
Social Membership
The Social Member shall enjoy all privileges related to Dining, Bar,
and Pool activities. There are no privileges afforded for Golf or
Tennis. This membership has no ownership of stock and therefore has no
right to vote, hold office or ownership in Club property and assets. If
at some point the Social member desires to change to a Regular
membership, the initiation fee paid will be credited toward the purchase
of the Regular membership cost. A social membership may not be
transferred. The Jonesboro Country Club Board of Directors must approve
all applications and resignations.
Tennis Membership
This membership enjoys
all the privileges relating to Dining, Bar, Pool and Tennis. There are
NO privileges for Golf. The initiation fee is the same as a social
member and the food minimums are the same. You must join the JCCTA and
pay the monthly indoor tennis fee. This membership has no ownership of
stock and therefore has no right to vote, hold office or have any
ownership in Club property and assets. If at some point the Tennis
member desires to change to a Regular member, the initiation fee paid
will be credited toward the purchase of a Regular membership cost. The
Tennis membership may not be transferred. The Jonesboro Country Club
Board of Directors must approve all applications and resignations.
NOTE:
All membership classifications are subject to dues increases,
assessments and other costs as deemed necessary by the Jonesboro Country
Club Board of Directors. |
