Meet the Assistant Pro
 

 

Byron Cato

Byron has been the assistant pro at JCC since September 2008. He has lived in Jonesboro most of his life, and is a 2008  graduate of ASU. He has played tennis for 11 years, including winning the tennis state championship his senior year of high school. Byron has played USTA Adult League tennis for the past 6 years, winning multiple state titles. He started teaching tennis at 17 and continued teaching the game part-time through high school and college. He is a certified member of the United States Professional Tennis Association with a Professional 2 rating. Byron works with juniors and adults but specializes in junior development.  Byron has a passion and  strong commitment to the continued success of JCC tennis.
