LGA NEWS
August 2010
Our Club Championship is August 10th and 11th. I will have more than one flight depending on the number of entrants. I would like to include the 9-holers if you will play.
Due to the extreme heat and humidity, our ladies day attendance has dropped. Even if it is too hot to play, come join us for lunch. Everyone seems to enjoy the 1-lady scramble so we will try it more often. It is amazing how those second chance shots are always better!
As required by our constitution, we will have a mid-summer meeting on August 17th during our lunch following play that day. My executive committee will meet briefly before we tee off that morning, so please be here by 8:30am.
Our Susan G. Komen, Arkansas tournament is scheduled for September 28th. More details will follow. Be thinking about a partner to support this wonderful cause.
