2008 Junior Golf Corner

     The end of school is just around the corner and I would like to take this opportunity to remind everyone that the Junior Golf Program at Jonesboro Country Club will be beginning soon and there are a lot of fun events planned.

2008 Junior Golf Program

Junior Day

Begins Wednesday, May 28 at 8:30am 

Runs until Wednesday August 13

The only date cancelled will be Wednesday, June 4 due to the Joe Boone Memorial Golf Tournament.

All juniors interested in participating in the Junior Play Day need to be at the pro shop by 8:30am every Wednesday morning.

Junior Clinic

Session #1(ages 5 - 7):   Thursday, June 19 thru Thursday, July 31

                                    8:00am until 9:30am

Session #2 (ages 8 & up):  Thursday, June 19 thru Thursday, July 31

                                       9:45am until 11:15am

There will be a make up date offered at the end of clinic for those juniors that miss a date during the summer sessions. If you have any questions or would like to know the cost of the junior clinic or junior day, please call the pro shop at 932-2410.

Junior Golf Tournament Schedule At JCC

June 4 & 5             Joe Boone Memorial (ages 8 & up)

June 22                 9-Hole Adult/Child Scramble

July 20                  9-Hole Adult/Child Scramble

August 7 & 8       J.C.C. Junior Stroke Play Championship (ages 8 & up)

August 10            18-Hole Adult/Child Scramble

                              (also has a 9-Hole Division)
