On a special note, we are now working with local produce purveyor Mel Fender. Mel is providing us with fresh picked vegetables, organically and locally grown! I am in touch with Mel twice a week and she lets me know what vegetables are fresh in season and ready to be picked and delivered to us. Our members and guests then will be able to enjoy them as vegetables of the day, side dishes and salads. She provides everything from fresh baby new potatoes to peppers and other vegetables. This was an excellent opportunity to not only support local farming, but to also provide our membership with the freshest available produce and products, for which we are proud! Mel will also be opening, as part of her services, a kitchen where she will be baking fresh breads, making jams, jellies, relishes, pies and cakes. We are very excited about this new partnership and look forward to working with Mel!

 

As always we are open to all of your suggestions and always around so please stop in and let us know what you would like to see on the menu or as specials or to talk about Mel and some of the products she has available. This is another step we are taking that is unique and lets us provide a dining experience our members and guests will enjoy and be proud of.
