JCC Adult Winter Challenge (Feb 4-6): This is a big tournament for all of our adults. Cost is $30 per person, and it is doubles only. We will have keg beer for all players over 21 and dips and chips and other goodies Saturday night during which time we will have some featured matches. Matches will be Friday night, all day Saturday, and Sunday morning, so that we can get finished in time for everyone to get to their Super Bowl parties! Please come out and watch! Trip To Morgan Keegan Pro Tournament (Feb 16): We will be taking a group of adults and juniors over to see the pro tournament in Memphis. We will leave early Wednesday morning and get back around 8:30pm. If you are interested in going with us, please call 932-6556 for more information.
JCC Rice Bowl Junior Tournament (Mar 18-20): Please make plans for your junior to play in this tournament. It will be a great tournament for all of our juniors to play in and show off their tennis skills. Juniors must be able to play with real balls and keep score themselves to play in this tournament. If you are not sure if your junior should play in this tournament, please ask me.
Adult/Junior Doubles Tournament (Saturday, April 30): This will be a very good tournament for all of our juniors and adults to play in. Each junior will need to find an adult to play with, or each adult will need to find a junior. I will divide the teams into several divisions and each team will play all of the other teams in their division to see who comes out as the champions! We will have trophies for the winners and runner-ups. Cost is $30/doubles team. Everyone will be guaranteed to play at least three times. This tournament will be outside, and so it is weather permitting. If we get rain, we will reschedule. Call the Tennis Centre to sign up!
Adult Friday Night Out (May 6) – This will be our first adult social of the spring. We will be on the back patio weather permitting. If not, we will move inside. This is going to be a 15-point tiebreaker tournament (going all the way to 15), and we will take the first 20 teams that sign up. I will divide the teams into four divisions and each team will play all the others in their division. Winning teams will get $20 gift certificates to the Pro-shop! Cost will be $20 per team. Please sign up as a team (find your own partner!!).
